The GlobalSat BC-337 is a Compact Flash GPS receiver which can turn your PDA or Laptop into a navigation system with pinpoint accuracy. This GPS receiver has provided higher sensitivity, lower power usage and more rapid time-to-fix than ever before! And if that is not enough for you then you can switch on WAAS and get your position pinpointed to within 5 metres. The GlobalSat BC-337 features a sensitive internal antenna, but if that is not enough you can connect an (optional) external antenna to it for enhanced reception.

reviewed in English: “Without any doudbt the tested Globalsat GPS products are very good products and will satisfy their buyers. Each one has its own buy group, depending upon the needs of user. If someone wants to use a GPS device at both PDA and Laptop, then the BT-338 or BC-337 arethe best choices.” If the connection interface is Secure Digital, then SD-502 is a perfect match.”
reviewed in English: “This CF based unit BC-337 is a no-fuss, reliable, and accurate solution, and since I have CF on my PDA, is my preferred carry-around unit currently.”
reviewed a comparison between the BT-338 and BC-337 in English: “During side by side road testing, the BC-337 and the BT-338, both using the highly respected SiRFstar III chipset, performed well during the road test, and were almost identical. The BT-338 seemed to track just that bit tighter, but in reality, both are pretty good. The BC-337 also clearly outperformed the compact flash CF-9534, which uses the earlier SiRFstarII chipset.”
reviewed in English: “The fact that it is truly portable is great, it can be used with either your PDA or your laptop. This could be a great product for business people that travel a lot with their laptops, they will never have to worry about getting lost and will have no need for any other navigation device.”
reviewed in French: "This is a versatile GPS receiver and can be used equally well in a car or out walking. It is self contained obtaining power from the PDA, it can then be used effectively on foot. An added bonus is that you do not need to carry an additional charger."
reviewed in French: “I found the GPS Compact flash excellent. The antenna type allows use of the unit through a car windshield: the signal arrives at the same strength as it would outside the car. The GPS SD is very good in comparison to the other SD receivers which I had tested in the past. On the other hand, it ranks below the compact flash, as it can lose it’s signal on narrow city streets.”
